To fully enjoy your visit to the Cap de Creus National Park, the best option is to do it by sea, choosing from a huge variety of boats, both licensed and unlicensed, the choice of the captain of your boat can take you to the best coves and beaches in the region until you reach the incredible natural park of Cap de Creus. Jet skis can also be rented, so it’s all about making the most of the experience and choosing the option that best suits you and your family’s needs.
With our boats and from our port of Santa Margarita you can reach the tip of Cap de Creus located 25 km away in just 90 minutes. It is impossible to resist the temptation to explore the beautiful landscapes of this park.
On your way to Cap de Creus you will pass Punta Falconera, located 20 minutes away, passing through the bay of Roses, Canyelles beach and Almadrava beach. These last two beaches are 17 minutes away from our port and are the best known in Roses, as they offer a wide range of restaurants and activities.
After passing Punta Falconera you will have access to the first coves of the national park. The first two are Cala Murtra and Cala Rustella, two small coves with a very quiet atmosphere, as they do not offer any services, but they are characterised by their turquoise waters and a beautiful seabed where you can snorkel.
Next is Cala Montjoi which, unlike the two previous ones, offers various catering services and is very well known, since until 2011 there was the famous 5-star restaurant “El Bulli” by Ferran Adrià. A little further is Cala Pelosa, surrounded by vegetation, especially pine and eucalyptus forests, also characterised by its turquoise and transparent waters. In this cove there is a beach bar known for making one of the best paellas in the area.
After crossing the best coves of Roses we arrive at Cap Norfeu, a rocky cape sculpted by the tramontana, where you can discover curious shapes that the sea and the wind have sculpted. This cape is well known for its cat-like shape and offers a great variety of vegetation and fauna.
Next, 30 minutes from Cap Norfeu is the famous tourist town of Cadaqués, a town known for its peculiar gastronomy and the famous museum of the great painter Salvador Dalí. And finally we arrive at the famous natural park of Cap de Creus, which is approximately 15-20 minutes from the town of Cadaqués. It is the first maritime-terrestrial park in the country that contains a great wealth of flora and fauna and offers a great biological, geological and scenic quality.
